If you think lav’s kicking is better than average (I.e. better than half the comp) you’re a biased Essendon nuffy

LAV

Don’t think I ever seen an Essendon player turn his career around like this it’s been remarkable

You ever beat your opponent so badly he changes his name?

He’s making it, he’s making it Laverde is making it to the end of the season!

Amazing effort. He seems to get pretty badly beat up every week but man is he tough. Who’d have thought Lav would be a lock in our backline 12 months ago. Masterstroke from Truck.

In the lead up to the game the ch7 commentators were re-ranking players from his draft year and they didn’t even mention Lav.
He’s now Top 10 in my books.

I’d have him between 10 and 20 at this stage. Before this season he would have been well outside the top 20. A few more years like this one and he’ll easily be top 10.

Has he activated his contract trigger yet?

Who said better then average? The stats are right there on the AFL website, his kick efficiency is average for a key defender. 37th of 75 key defenders.

He needs a lot more than a single high-quality, injury-free season to push up the rankings. I can understand a lot of players being ranked higher until Lav had more runs on the board.

What an absolute beast weapon of a defender he has turned into :sweat_drops:

So because Laverde missed a kick today that means his kicking is so bad? Are you going to post the same in the Ridley or Merrett threads next time they do a bad kick? Everyone stuffs a kick up every now and then, it doesnt make them a bad kick.
