Carlton dead set stopped midway through the third and we were too incompetent to make a comeback. 4 consec behinds in the 3rd, wrights bad miss then dropped mark in the square in the 4th. We could have made a game of it if we were halfway competent

It’s obvious this isn’t turning around anytime soon.
Whatever farked us up in the pre-season cut pretty deep and unwinding it is proving tough.
The last quarter was blue collar though. It’s not a great look, but we made the Blues work for their possessions. After the Vossy rev up at three quarter time, they didn’t respond and a big reason for it was our pressure.
Still such a poor standard of skills though.
Still such a slow lazy moving team.
There’s not much that can be done. Get through the season, let the players go on a holiday and warn them that they have to be ready from day one to knock this ■■■■ out of these players. Lots of running, lots of skills practise and hit the weight rooms.

Game was over in the 2nd after de Konig got away with clear two handed shove of Phillips then Cripps gets a point blank free for falling over as he’s a pissweak cheat a minute later

Umps gave them the lead and the game in that qtr
We had no parish and MCG and were competitive for parts of the game
The zone though, it is so unbelievably bad, the worst thing the AFL has seen in 150 years, Rutten maybe the worst coach and strategist game will ever see
