#16 Josh “Fridge” Begley

having watched fair share of vfl games he’s actually decent in the middle, can bullock his way through or out of packs, strong core

There’s two types of people in this world: Those who know BEGLEY is a BIG BOI, and those who are wrong.

IT’S TIME

I’m one to call a spade a spade.

I get that Svelte Boy Begley doesn’t quite have the same ring to it, … but he just Aint that big a boy anymore.

Soz, … but credit where it’s due,. he’s done a power of work to get himself in shape and get out there in under one season. Very impressive.

Maybe “Fatboy Slim” would be more apt now? :smirk:

Shows great promise.

BIG

BEGLEY

For a first year player he’s built like a fkn brick shithouse. Ollie wines like size when he came on the scene

I can’t wait to watch how he develops

You won’t have to wait long. 5 more games this year!

Agree. He hasn’t been a consistent high possession winner in the vfl. Rather he looks good when he gets it, but as yet he only gets it occasionally.
Don’t forget he did something similar in the pre season, kicking 4 goals in a half of his first game, then going quiet.
But that’s fine. He is a young guy who needs to find his feet, and we shouldn’t expect consistency from him yet.

Round 23 Rising star?

I get very nervous when I see a fridge at Essendon

As long as you know the contents of what’s in the fridge

Have you seen the man’s legs? He may not be fat, but he is still a big boi!

There once was a Fidge at Essendon.

Is that the first line of a limerick?
