#16 “OMG it’s Archie” Perkins

100% Captain.

He has moments where he looks really good and damaging, but just fades in and out of games too much at the moment

Liked that he got a handful of CBAs. Hopefully gets plenty more the back half of the year.

Was more involved rather than just being isolated in the F50. Thought he did well.

Almost like he’s a second year player?

16 CBA. How did he go?

When he got involved we looked dangerous

I wanted Henry over Perkins and i think Henry is a better forward from what we have seen but hopefully Archie overtakes him as a midfielder.

Seems slower this year.

Is he injured? He doesn’t look as agile as last year.

I wanted Perkins, Henry & Reid.
With the hope that Henry could push up to a Wing, take contested marks around the ground and be a damaging forward.

Perkins always looked like a quality inside Mid, who can push forward. You don’t see many 188cm guys who have the power in the hips and core to shrug tackles and burst away from congestion.

I actually reckon Perkins is more valuable for us as a forward than as a mid. He has goal nous and ability that will allow him to consistently kick 1-2 goals per game. We don’t have many, if any, players like that. Midfield time may come but I am very comfortable with him honing his craft as a forward for the time being.

He can do both.

i’d say it’s more about playing in the 3rd worst dysfunctional forwardline in the comp than anything else.

plan one is kick it long to 2mp
apparently last nights plan was to kick it long to 2mp, jones and either draper or flip all going for the mark.
i’d hate to be playing in this forwardline esp when the opposition seems to know better where the ball is meant to be going, than our actually players.

Perkins Bruhn and Driscoll for mine

Keep sending him in for a couple of CBAs per qtr. Develop him in both roles.

So hot.
