#16 “OMG it’s Archie” Perkins

I’ve called the club multiple times and asked if I could get a hug off Archie and they just tell me to stop calling or they’ll call the police.

2MP is peak human. Hes like the monolith in 2001: A Space Odyssey, you get too close to it and you obtain supreme enlightenment

He dominated stoppages during an intraclub

Absolutely the right term to use. Warms the heart to see a little kid with so much joy on their face. I bet he gives plenty back. Definitely a mini legend.

What a terrific little kid… certainly brings a smile to your face. Well done on the players for making his day one to remember!

Towers over half our midfield

While I would like him to be getting more midfield minutes, I would like to see him start to win more of the ball at half forward.

He’s only had 2 games in his career with more than 18 touches which doesn’t scream that he should be getting major midfield minutes just yet.

Good to see he’s regularly hitting the scoreboard now which is a big improvement on last year. Hopefully the big step in ball winning comes next year.

His feedback to 2MP is gold.

Totally different level but I was impressed by Archie’s midfield game / fitness early last year in the practice matches. Unexpectedly good, and his vision by foot is also good. If it was Hobbs/Parish/Caldwell first possession out to Perkins 2nd possession I think we’d see some good service to those further afield.
