#16 “OMG it’s Archie” Perkins

I think theres room for him to develop in that area, especially if hes given time on ball in the future. Hes definitely got the frame to support more muscle.

More like Pendlebury than Pendlebury himself!

A ‘reversogram’?

fair to say… expectations on Martin are high and rising

Only if he ducks more and dives more and illegally disposes of the ball more.

These comparisons are silly.

The only valid comparison to be made is against the relative looseness of other ■■■■■ in Portsea.

188cm and 90 odd kg.

Wouldn’t be a tall mid as far as today’s tall mids go, but in 1996 he was definitely towards the upper end of the size range for midfielders.

(Kouta was a monster, of course).

He is currently listed at 80kg.

Would love to see him put on lots of size this off-season.

I hope he is a permanent midfielder next year.

Na he has great agility, slow and steady for his weight gains. It’s about where he is at 24 not next year for him. Otherwise you risk him breaking down and losing that agility.

He needs to get to 86-88kg to really have that big bodied mid influence.
