Bailey Smith, case in point
Tom Green has played 62. Archie is a long way off it
Yeah but he should be one of our bests every week.
Yeah i dunno. Hes just in horrible form. He has friends in that department though.
Somethings going through the club.
Im expecting changes in the off season. Some exits the players and or club dont want.
Turning up similar midfield performances as Langford when we tried to make a midfielder.
Send him home. Time for Brad to do what he said he’d and play players to their strengths.
Why do you believe a 21yo 3rd year player should be one of our best every week ?
Perhaps he will just become a good solid player.
He isn’t a Tom Green, or even a Max Holmes.
I’d do that trade in a heart beat
For a top 10 pick we need him to become more then just a solid player.
Happens in all walks of life, not just footy.
Good solid fwd, another miss by Dudoro…we needed a big body mid and he gave us a HFF, a giant skinny utility and a key back who can’t get fit. Three shots at it and he still missed but give him a job for life.
That’s Essendon. We are full of good solid players. No superstars, no generational talent. No hope.
Needs to redeploy the man bun, that’ll save us.
Woah, let’s not go nuts here!

Perhaps he will just become a good solid player
Yeah, thats what we want out of our top 10 picks
If he tries hard he can become the next Ricky Dyson. Good times.

Well … he’s played 54 games now, but I’d have thought he’d be in our best more than once or twice this season. Think he did well in R1 vs Hawks … that’s about it. Ive been a fan of his but he’s gone backwards and isn’t yet a true midfielder. Endurance is a bit ordinary, or so it sometimes looks.
That’s on Dodoro, not Archie.
Having said that it is frustrating when you see the impact players of the equivalent age seem to be having at other clubs compared to the ones we tend to pick up. Again, I’d argue that is on Dodoro, and to a great extent the development programs and club culture we have, which seems awful.
Really? Where is the plethora of 2020 draftees outperforming Archie? He was playing top offensive football (poor defensive) before moving to the midfield. Holmes is doing better, but who else drafted after him that year?
Zaharakis 2.0.
B grader.
I think he meant equivalent age, not necessarily from the exact same draft pool.
Agree with the above, it’s a reflection of our drafting.
FWIW, Archie is the least of my concerns.
