MOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOODS
I wish i could do fark all for 8 years and cash big pay chequesHe better fkn produce next season
You are a council worker. That’s exactly what you do!
It’s a wonderful life.
2014 & 2015No, I asked when the injury free years were?
lol
to add more to Saladin, where your game plan means your midfield doesn't press up without the ball in hand, to go with also poor effort without the ball and poor skills when they did ball, more turnovers than a Danish Patisteire ...the ball is going to be coming in like The Battle Of Britain...And it’s his 1st senior game back in 2+ years… with continuity and a pre-season he can get back to his 2009/2010… which is far more than I can say for Ariel Fumbleberg who has been getting games ahead of Pears, which puzzles me as much as Edwards not playing or being dropped
Happy to defend Pears, and happy to give him chances, but FFS, no need to have a go at Steinberg at the same time. He’s been a defender playing in exactly the same team with a penchant for the soft turnover for pretty much all of his games and at VFL level has been outperforming Pears by some margin.
Easy to out perform someone as a defender when they are
a) being played forward, for some smart reason
b) injured
Steinberg is a spud, Pears just needs to re-discover what his talent is capable of, thats all. If he doesn’t in 2016 then he is cooked…
Microsoft word suggests Taste Pears.
Riolio, You know when Bill Gates hears you cant download a Virgin Inflight entertanment app for Windows, he will stop givng his money away.
Rewatched the Collingwood game, I think I was harsh on him. Two of fasolos shots on goals early were when he wasn’t on him and another Carlisle should have covered but squibbed it. He got better as the game went on.
I have a feeling we might see a mini reemergence this year.

I think it needs to be more than a mini reemergence

He basically had to re-learn how to play footy again in 2015.
There is room for any number of good news stories at our club. So, Go Tayter !
He can play. No doubt about that. The question is his body. If fit he is best 22

No. Form is not inevitable if fit. Hes missed way too much senior footy to be best 22. Imo His potential best is good enough, but hes gotta find it and find it quickly because plenty have/will lock in spots in front of him.
Would surprise me if he gets back.
more bizarre than giving winders a new contract.
All he has to do is find the form, fitness and athleticism he had six years ago to make it back into our best side.
He can play. No doubt about that. The question is his body. If fit he is best 22wasn't he fit ish this year and only what managed 3 games at the end of the season when everyone pretty much wanted everything to just end.
Think he was only kept on, on the off chance the draft period didn’t yeild the results it ended up doing (Brown and hartley).
If either of those 2 turn into a half decent player next year pears will be very very very very very lucky to be on our list after next season.
Best 22 is not even a pipe dream at present, it’s a damn ■■■■■■■ miracle the likes of bringing someone back from the grave after 20 years of being buried after cremation.
If he managed one game next year it’s one of two things
that miracle above has happened
or the more likely outcome
we are in a worse position than this year which would be a damn fair effort to achieve.
I would love to see him play as a third tall with Hooker and Hurley as the KP players. In 2013 he played a few senior games and was getting lots of the ball around the back half and was clean with his disposal, I reckon that is his best position (whatever you want to call that).
He played some good footy in 09 and everyone fell in love with him and hangs onto that
I’d be amazed if he played more than 3-5 games next year. Id actually probably be pretty suprised if he played for us again

Or perhaps, you know… someone gets injured.
if he plays it means we’re having a stinker of a season.
I have not written him off at all. I still think he’s capable of playing really good football.I hope he has a completely injury free pre-season and he is played as a defender - not as a forward at any point.
Yep, but at least he is on the list and still has a chance.
Brown is pretty much the same age, and Hartley is 3 years younger. To stay on the list Pears needs to be a better option than those two.
So again, it’ll be tough, but at least he is a chance.
