#19 Kobe "The Eel" Mutch

They say he’ll be back playing in 5 or 6 weeks.
Surely that means he’ll be back training in 2 or 3 in some capacity.

He’s apparently had a very good pre-season so far. Mightn’t be too badly affected

Damn.

WTF.

I came into this thread at the picture with Hooker, got excited, and 10 posts later get to the actual news.

FFS.

It’s well and truly BEGUN

Sad, could have been anything. RIP.

After a few weeks of proactive injury management , they decided on surgery.

There’s no coming back from an arthroscope.

Poor guy, he’s probably only one more injury away from being traded to the Kangaroos.

Sill 7 or 8 weeks till the season starts so a good time to get it done.

Sounds like every other pre-season we’ve had over the last 10+ years where to club says: “Yeah. He’ll be ready to go by round one and will be back in training in the next couple of weeks leading up to pre-season.”

Then we don’t see him for at least a year.

Couple of boys in the adverts during the intraclub live stream were asked who had trained the house down over preseason. Mutchy got a couple of mentions.

Good on him.

Delist.

RIP KOBE

A rare beef about the medical staff?

You’re kidding here Klawds, … right?

Not really, just not as proactive as suggested. He has been absent from training and/or with the modified group for weeks.

I was more alluding to Kobe beef, cooked rare. Always assume a pun.

Autocorrect- think he meant “There’s no coming back from arteriosclerosis”.

Coming up on four weeks since the surgery now. Really keen to see what this guy can produce this season.
