Can he be as consistent as AFL premiership player and took 2nd best key back of the past-decade Alex Rance to the cleaners in a prelim Mason Cox? Iā€™d say probably.

Iā€™m really not looking forward to this contract year for draper, feel like itā€™s going to be a circus. Hope we donā€™t overpay to keep him, ruckman just are not worth that much of your cap space.

Well yeah because thereā€™s a minimum cap amountā€¦ so if thereā€™s a fair bit then yeah it does get spread around or front/back loaded depending

Itā€™s not a stretch to think that heā€™s got a fair bit of improvement in him. Most draftees have played more games of footy than Sammy. And ruckmen typically take longer to mature.

I thought he was one of only a few who played solid footy in the later part of the year. The first half of his year was impacted by injury.
