Watched the first quarter of 2005 gf last night for no apparent reason. Picked one up off the wing three bounces goal.
He was a very reasonable player.
Watching Cox, Judd, Cousins and Kerr dominate was one of the most beautiful things Iāve watched in football.
Iām trying, but I donāt see the joke, pun, or drug reference in this post.
WTF?
Just looking at it as an AFL fan, not just through EFC goggles. Was one of the greatest midfields in history. People would argue the Lions or Cats midfields sure but for me that West Coast group was just so entertaining to watch. The whole gameplan seemed to revolve around shepherding and looking after those 3 main blokes. The amount if times you saw Cox hit it straight down to Judd, Kerr and Cousins who win a clearance, breakaway and kick a goal was incredible. Wouldnāt mind Zerrett (judd), McGrath (kerr), Parish (cousins) and Leuenberger (cox) tearing it up like those guys did.

Sure, they were a dominant combination, but a replay of Essendon āpulling the wings off fliesā like they did with the GCS in the first quarter record game, is not as good as beating Hawthorn by a couple of points and 3 seconds to spare. Its better to fight it out and just win than be a flat track bully against an outclassed, inexperienced side. Thats why the 3 wins this year were so gratifying. Nobody ever called the Essendon side of 2016 āflat track bulliesā

Update on the club website from Crow about TBCās knee problem -
"Bellchambers will undergo surgery and be sidelined for around eight weeks.
ā¦
Tom, like Joe, has a knee surface issue from a number of years ago that raised its head before Christmas,ā High Performance Manager Justin Crow said.
āHe was in rehab after a rest and progressing well until a week ago.
āHeās not quite at 100% so today we sought the advice of his specialist, Julian Feller, and Tom is going to go in for a clean-out of his knee to try to get him to 100%.
āTom will start running in a month, heāll build up his football over a month after that and then heāll be pushing for selection.ā
