Whats the bet KB craps on about the jumper again instead of the win next week. Old wanker.

Sixome? I ■■■■■■■ don’t know?

That’s a great idea.

2 wins from finishing top 4.

Beat Carlton,Brisbane,Sydney,Freo and that could have been us today.

We underachieved this year

Let him be. His side just won the flag.

I’ve said it for years, focus on the defensive side, and more often than not the rest takes care of itself.

last 2 years evidence this. you can claim richmond are questionable with ball in hand, but it doesn’t matter if you’re that manic when you don’t.

Tis also why I say you can’t carry even 1 plyer who can’t contribute in that area, we’ve carried a minimum of 5 every game for a decade plus.

Also wonder how much the size of the mcg plays a part on grand finals days, interstate teams of late just can’t carry their games onto a bigger ground the one day it matters.

Forget about the umps.

All we should worry about is getting together a list and gameplan good enough to win flags.

The umps won’t help us run all day or pressure and harass and tackle, or set up properly defensively across the game.

The umps won’t help us concentrate for 4 qtrs and they won’t make our midgets taller.

They won’t help us lock the ball in our forward 50 for significant periods of the game or devise a proper plan for us to bring the ball in from a behind.

They won’t make us a better team through the middle.

The tigers absolutely deserved every bit of this win. They absolutely suffocated and then dominated the crows. They completely and utterly broke their opposition.

Hopefully when our chance comes we can do the same.

Sydney thrashed Essendon, Geelong thrashed Sydney, Adelaide thrashed Geelong… oh FFS.

I cant think of one “typical” Adelaide-2017 passage of play for the entire game. Thats not luck. Thats not umpires. Thats a supreme plan and a basic footy edict.

Richmond totally deserve this. You’re being totally dishonest to suggest otherwise. Essendon should watch closely.

The thing with the umps today is, if they pinged richmond as easily as they did adelaide in the first half, then the pressure builds on richmond defenders.

Instead they know they can hold on, can scrag, can chop the arms.

If they got the frees infront of goal, that they gave to richmond, they’d have been at least a goal up and it’s a whole different ball game.

Agree they played better and prolly would have won, but they got an armchair ride, and made it easier for them.

So when an ump doesn’t pay an illegal disposal…when an ump doesn’t pay a holding the ball…when and ump doesn’t pay a free kick for holding…when an ump pays advantage when there is none or the opposition gets the advantage and then deems there is none so the ball comes back…that’s the shithouse premiership team that has won this years bullshit debarkel.
AFL…What a ■■■■■■■ joke!

Yeah maybe, but one team always gets the rub.

The crows weren’t remotely close enough for it to matter and the handful of contentious calls and non-calls weren’t the difference today.

Hope our boys were watching that. That game was all about pressure which is purely attitudinal & mindset. Richmond got it in one pre season. We need it badly if we wanna win big games. Hopefully we develop it soon.

Today has nothing to do with the umps. Richmond across the board were harder, more aggressive and more desperate. Crows wanted to play easy uncontested footy and weren’t prepared to really take the game on

Bullshit because its them same calls Richmong have had all year.

The greatest equaliser there is.

If/when we get to finals again, and then eventually to the grand final ours needs to be far superior to the oppositions on the day.

That happens, we win.

Its an absolute non-negotiable and we need to curate the list accordingly.

Gonna be another long off-season.

So we pressure it like they do and hold it up in our forward 50. Kick goals as if we are shooting fish in a barrel? What an exciting football team.

again we will never know. townsend get a goal, revolt gets a goal from holding talia, dusty gets a goal when holding adealide jumper.

there’s 3 goals in the second qtr that were due to the umps not being even. they don’t get those goals from umps being blind, again totally different game at half time.

again they got away with it at their end, and adealide missed 2 that i vividly remember, and prolly more.

Again different game at half time with the pressure evenly spread across both teams.
instead richmond go in knowing they can pretty much do anything they want.

it built confidence instead of doubt.
