2019 Draft Watch - it’s over, apart from all the remaining bits

Improved after his delisting, presumably.

Have ranked the averages of all potential midfielders available at our picks

I might add what they actually average later on but want to see if some people try and look them up. Rivers and Ruscoe played through the midfield at 18s level and there is some differences between the likes of Warner and Schoenberg for their stats at the champs but used the higher stats for whichever they performed best in.

Whomever is this Chad Warner fellow?

Philp and Rantall my two favourites.

Warner is hard as a cats head, no fuss inside mid but tested elite for agility and endurance at the combine

What’s his knock then if he’s lasting into the 30’s?

He is no fuss so he hasn’t got much finesse with his kicking and although his agility is good his 20m was pretty poor. Played more of a negative role in the WA midfield at the champs which shows with his average of 18 touches and 7 tackles yet averaged 27 touches at colts level and was able to hit the scoreboard more with 8 goals from 9 games.

Rantall’s super-duper elite endurance is pretty appealing a sub 6min 2km is damn good.

Did they test on a different surface this year?

Sounds like one of those guys who will either be drafted and never play or go on to be a mid everyone talked about being a bargain(Sloane or Parker). Worth a shot. Sounds like Parish without some of his class and we could do with another player like that.

Great work, @THE_DON1

But what about their averages in interviewing best or spelling Gatorade backwards?

■■■■ kick . Don’t pick .

The only good kicks on that list are Ruscoe, Rivers and Mott with Schoenberg and Dow just solid.

I reckon Warner is a lot shorter than 183. And that may be his problem. He may find himself as a pressure fwd who gets spurts in the midfield as his size and lack of speed work against him.

He is 183cm

Huh. I stand corrected.

Td1!what are views on Jeremy sharp - seems to be on the slide? Nice size.
