I’m more than happy for it to be a huge stinking mess. That’s the easiest one to short circuit via the PSD and we’ll have plenty enough cap space to manipulate and manoeuvre Caldwell’s contract to get him to our pick. They’re playing sour grapes about the continued revolving door that is their club, which you can understand to a point. But rather than sooking about draftee contracts and free agents who decide to leave, maybe they should be looking at the culture within their playing group and why the most talented list ever assembled has failed to deliver on their promise as answers to why players keep choosing to leave…

Collingwood’s list management makes Dodo look like a genius. They are ā– ā– ā– ā– ā– ā– .

It’s possible that isn’t our trade but what we think Geelong have to offer GWS?

Yeah…but he’d have 40-odd games of exposed AFL form if he’d played with us. 11 games downgrades him.

Really? I don’t think that’s realistic at all. He’s a good player. But not every top 10 pick holds that value. I still think he has room to improve though.

Found this interesting, from https://twitter.com/BigFootyDraft

Pick 8ish from the Blues gives us the 2nd best draft hand in terms of points. Nice place to be even if the Dunkley trade falls over (which I think it wont).

Could not agree more mate. I’ve been saying this all along too. They have a lot of 2017 about us at the moment where they think they can get a few players in and all of a sudden theyll be contenders. If they get a few injuries to a couple of key players they are stuffed

One more year of Treloar at Collingwood means they have to cut even deeper next year. It’s magnificent.

I was kidding mate. The whole 2 years development is bull crap. It should only count if the player is best 22 and killing it, which Caldwell isn’t.

Agree. It’s also their fault that they draft the exact same type of player year after year and then don’t give them opportunities.

Yeah totally agree - that’s why I wouldn’t be that fussed about keeping either their or our first. I don’t think the ladder position will be that different.

Geelong pick swap - are we asking for Menegola?

Has a future 2nd against Fantasia’s name.

Listening to Jack Heverin on SEN between 6.00pm-7.00pm each night does my head in. He is under the impression the Bulldogs need high end pick to make sure they have enough points to cover a bid for Ugle-Hagen.
He keeps referring to Collingwood needing a lot of early picks next year to make sure they don’t miss out on Nick Daicos.

I usually don’t mind him, but he needs to brush up on his trade and draft knowledge
