i think i just want a highly bankable midfield talent or mid/forward type. with our first rounder.
all these first round prospect look pretty ready made. shouldn’t be lifting the draft age.

Very mature bodies on most of them, I agree. However, I’m guessing most are already 18 turning 19 this half of the year. Due to missing last year, NAB series will be u19 and u17 age group in 2021. Previously the boys have only turned 18 in their draft year with a handful of 19 year olds in the mix
None of those kids I listed turn 19 this year actually.

Clubs are starting to look at more readymade bodies, there is a recent worry that the skinnier kids are far more likely to get injured when they get to an elite system and training. Clubs are worried when kids skinfolds are really low aswell for that same reason.

Picking Skinny kids has been our late draft picks strategy for a number of years now.
Most of the time we’ll pick a skinny wing player, that uses the ball well and can read the game unfold.
I should be researching before asking, but are these guys also academy selections?
The first batch are in the AFL academy the rest would be on Victoria’s extended academy no doubt if they bring it back

Don’t get much more inside he is an absolute bull and future AFL captain. No suprise he was one of the more impressive players to interview aswel.
