What date is this thing on?
Two clubs have not been able to sort him out. Stevie was at one club the whole time.
2nd June I think
He got done for drink driving in April, and they kept him. Then he got caught with an illicit substance in September, and they kept him. Then he got photographed with an illicit substance again in December and they dumped him. Asking someone to stay off the gear for three months, or at the very least do it discreetly is a pretty low bar to set for a professional footballer.
Tip of the iceberg too according to some. Those photos werenāt the first ones the Crows had seen
I am amazed that people think drafting Stengel is worth the risk. The risk management strategy here is pretty obviousā¦do not draft!
I bet thereās plenty on here that have endulged in the nose beers and got done drink driving a few times and turned out OK.
Iām fairly sure there would be some, but not aware if any on here who are AFL footballers/professional athletes.
Of course. But in this case it is a high profile football club that probably would not appreciate the media attention and backlash that would come with another lapse from Stengel.
Majority of peopleās workplaces do not replicate this.
Never tried it yhis way.
But youāre points stupid. None of us are professional athletes.
I get caught with possession or get done drink driving Iām sacked on the spot as would many others in the real world
Itās so easy to get you guys going haha
Yeah, very true.
But was that before or after their 30th birthday?
I canāt wait for the blitz meltdown when we pick him up.
Iāll be waiting a while because it wonāt happen.
At this stage 4 clubs have spoken to him, none of them is us
So Pickett isnāt doing ok?
So Pickett isnāt doing ok?
Heās going okay, not great, not terrible. I still think Snelling was the better pick.
Iām goingā¦
Richmond, Port, Crows and Sydney
Noble would have been handy as well, but pretty hard to pick we lose McKenna, McQuillan & Saad in one offseason
Not sure why 2 of his ex clubs would be looking at him
