2021 trade spec (Part 4)

I don’t think rohan would back this up without some evidence that it could be in the pipeline?

I just get that feeling

Why would we want to change Stringer’s role when it worked so well this year?

Is this the same source as below?

I’d be happier with a small forward with speed.

Willie Rioli ticks both of those boxes.

And a Rioli nearly guarantees a flag.

Tex Walker, Dylan Stephens and now Ben Keays…for a club who have professed to expecting a quiet trade period we seem to be linked to a lot of players. Dylan Stephens fits a need in that he is quick, can play outside and by all accounts is a good user of the footy. The other two just don’t so I reckon fake news…

In other words someone made it up, he ran with it, then those involved told him he should stop posting made up crap.

The last sentence of that tweet is the words of a wanker.

Mark ‘Finey’ Fine. Tool.

We are the go to club when a player manager wants a better deal for his client. Managers, Clubs, Journos and players all love to say Essendon when pushing an agenda. Essendon also don’t mind chucking the odd red herring out. All part of the fun of trade period. I love it, especially when i hear rumor’s like Mason Cox to Essendon, it is obviously BS, but keeps the clicks going.

Yes and I love that media seemed to be totally unaware of our interest in Kelly! Tells me that our IP and info are really well protected from leaks and the like…which is another good sign about our club.

I like Finey, the Friday night post game talk back on Sen has never been as entertaining as it was when he was hosting.

The bit that I ■■■■■■■ hate is “where it ends for now”. The ■■■■ posts some made up bullshit, and doesn’t have the guts to post a full retraction when he’s called out, but instead hints that it will kick off again in the future in order to cover his ■■■.

Specific to the Crows or in general? I think for his shortcomings he has sown enough as a defender that teams would pay more than that

IF and it’s a big IF he decides to leave it will only be to SA. Both clubs aren’t really interested in him at this stage and as such both would offer little for him. The go home card would be played and we would end up with a 4th rounder at best scenario. He is worth far more to us than what we would get in a trade and I hope and believe he could end up having a solid career with us
