Tuohy I think they almost forced out with a ■■■■ offer, and whilst I think they had a contract on the table for Phillips it was hardly a coup.
You’re not wrong, but with all the money they have tied up in the backline and midfield, there’s always a slight chance, as small as it will be.
Even smaller if they keep this form going.

Waite was constantly injured and I think the Blues were happy to see him leave.
That’s why I asked what you meant by “wanted to keep”. It seems pretty hard to tell from the outside when you’re talking about uncontracted players and free agents.
I meant star players. Guys like Cripps, Walsh, Judd etc… Betts would be in that category, but the club was really farked at the time and half pushed him out.
