No Hewett for me @Speedy_Gonzales, seems like he didn’t get up. But backing in Tom Barrass who has helped carry the mantle and has been excellent in the last few months. De Goey and Cerra handy ins, although Cerra will need a big game to top the unlucky Wards who scored 110 as the sub replacement last week . De Goey an obvious upgrade on McNeil. I’d have loved Gresham in Gunston’s place whom is very inconsistent, but you always cop a few injuries at some stage. Speedy unlucky to lose Anderson before the big game with concussion.

At this stage I’ve done about as much as I can from a coaching perspective. My team has been scoring slightly above Speedys all year but anything can happen in this game especially against a team that can score 1600… always just an early injury away from a loss. If we are to lose, then at least it will be to a very worthy competitor. Good luck and may the best team win!

All the best CB and Speedy. Can’t see an upset in this one and no offense to Speedy but hoping CB wins a much deserved flag.

After 1 match @Speedy_Gonzales has taken the lead but I imagine he will feel rather underwhelmed

Speedy_Gonzales 146 (Gawn and Zorko) leads @Crazy_Bomber 0

Rubbish

80 off the pace.

Brayhaw, Clark and Touk all putting in shockers so far. Golstein, Coniglio and Kelly running rampant for Speedy.

I think both teams would be pretty disappointed with their weekends so far, not really hitting any great heights with mostly lower scores throughout the weekend. Could go either way still, but Reilly O’Brien has helped us nudge our noses ahead with a quarter to play.

Scores?

Crazy Bomber 774 (9) trails Speedy_Gonzales 882 (12)

Speedy will be disappointed with scores in the 40s from Ben Cunnington and Brodie Smirh.

Very average scoring from me across the board.

Failing a few of my remaining players having a monster score one or two of Crazy’s getting subbed out early I think I’m cooked

Inconsistency been a problem for my team this year.

CB: Walsh, Smith, Mills, Dale, Marshall, De Goey, English, Cerra, Gunston
Predicted: 1588

vs

SG: Mitchell, Lloyd, Crisp, Treloar, Hannebery, Franklin.
Predicted: 1402

We’ll see what happens, Gunston is capable of a 30 point game and I’m always a poor score away or an injury sub from being on even terms again. Should be a big day.

In GF’s , hundreds are crucial. Speedy’s boys haven’t yet been able to convert any, that’s given Craze the positional advantage at the moment. Speedy’s 100-120 points off where he currently needs to be imo.

Going to be interesting watching, but i suspect it ends up a comfortable Craze victory.

Heard news Walsh is out, could help out a bit Speedy…

Jesus, he would want to be half dead to miss this game for the blues considering

Walsh officially out.

Ouch. Cal Ward’s 75 will now count for CB

Of all the weeks  75 isn’t a terrible score to take I guess, probably a good 25 less than I’d have wanted.

You are probably pretty angry at how unreliable he is. I’ll trade you wade derkson for him
