2023 Round 2 Changes vs Gold Coast

If Weed is out they may go with one of Draper/Phillips resting forward, with Jones, Perkins and Martin/Heppell as targets, and bring in another running player for Marvel.
I’m looking forward to seeing how Draper, Merrett, Parish, Shiel and Caldwell go against Witts, Rowell, Anderson, Miller and Swallow in the midfield. It’s where the game will be won or lost.

Though reading Brad Scotts comments, it certainly sounds like Weid will be given every opportunity to play ‘up until Sunday morning’

Or Baldwin is cover for him.

which is odd given Baldwin played defence and VOSS coming off a bag of 4 or 5 goals.

Of course he is when do our players ever escape injuries

I seen Bryan came off with a bit of a niggle high up on the right hamstring.

Bryan has a bit of a niggle in his career atm.

I didn’t pick that up, but wasn’t seen with the rucks towards the end of training.

He was servicable and deserving of another game, but not brilliant.

He was better than good. I was impressed and I’m often tough on players

He was not what you call brilliant, all that I said.

You said he was serviceable…he was more than that

Attacking kicking good. Defense not good.

Depends what you want to focus on.

He had 5 contested defense one on ones for 1 loss which is good. Breust beat him on the lead in that contest early on but Breust is probably going to beat anyone at some point in the game. For his first AFL game at HB I think he was fine defensively.

Servicable is a pass mark. His kicking is always good, his attack on the ball in non-existant and he does not tackle well or hard. He was servicable and deserving of another game.

He has played 98 games and is 90 kg and 191 cm, and we have always wanted more. At 26 is he going to get any better? I hope he does, because he will be out of the Team as the new blokes get fit and step up.

What a load of rubbish…he is a 1st 18 pick with a full list.

Certainly not rubbish. Langfords spot in the 22 is definitely one that received a lot of scrutiny over the off-season. Makes a superb utility.

Yeah…scrutiny from bored people on blitz trying to figure out their next target.

Didn’t see anything from the club, or in the media, about Langford not being best 18/23/23.
