I tried to do a poll but it was pretty confusing, but surely Melbourne would ask for 2 metre and a pick. Thatās the one thing stopping them from winning a flag. Would we do it? I think i would after this finals series showing that key forwards arenāt as important as big midfielders at the pointy end.

Itās in the AFLās interest that we arenāt a bottom 4 club, and we stay competitive. They couldnāt give a ā ā ā ā if weāre up the top or not.

That would be the whole ploy behind getting pick 13. Itās been mentioned many times here.
If overpaying for Gresham lands us a very useful bargaining chip to get Wines/Oliver then Iām all for it.
Also, if they want 2MP, thatās also fine.
Well, thatās whats being presented for public consumption; who knows what conversations were being had in private? My intel is based on something Dodo said; itās still very much down to interpretation.
