Furthermore, he’ll have some decent backup in Ridley and co’.
Furthermore, although our mids aren’t as strong as we’d like defensively it’ll still be a change if pace on how quick the ball enters the D50 than he is accustomed to. Mckay for us is a no brainer pick up and a clear upgrade, the slag some of us have had on getting him is ridiculous- and he’s come without compromising draft capital. Yes pick 3 is insane, but it’s not our pick 3 so who cares.
Whilst I agree with you, but is our team defence that much better than North Melb ? I think it will come down to the fact Mckay will compliment our defence and will be a point of difference
Our Midfield was better defensively than North’s for a majority of the year I would think, but abysmal come the drop off. Even then, it still got ontop of North.
He just needs to stay fit. Hopefully now he’s a bit older, he’ll be right. He was 199cm and 95kg in his draft year. Supposedly he’s now 202cm and 104kg. I’d imagine he’s probably done adding bulk now, so hopefully there’s fewer injuries as a result.
Move McGrath to half back and put Baldwin in the other pocket. LAV is the one I can see falling out of favour eventually. Is there another role for him.
Broad not a key defender, I thought Keath was alternaltive talent, so not technically accessable in draft to everyone, even though he was added as a rookie
