This week is our last round before finals. @Crazy_Bomber has top spot sewn up for the 3rd straight season. He becomes the first coach to have achieved this in the 13 seasons of BBFFL#2. @smooth managed back to back top finishes in 2016 and 2017.
@Stoops has 2nd spot all to himself, but the other top 4 spots are up for grabs. Round 19 losses for both @Trotters and @Speedy_Gonzales mean that saladin and @The_Melkman have jumped up into the top 4. If both win in Round 20 they will remain in the top 4 unless The Melkman is out scored by 398 points by Trotters or 417 points by Speedy_Gonzales - who both also would need to win.
Redbull will finish 7th no matter what happens this week, while 8th spot is a battle between @DonToDeath and Smooth. If Don to Death can hold off 13th placed Kj_11 he will play finals for the first time since 2021. However should he lose and Smooth defeats Speedy_Gonzales, Smooth would return to the finals action for the first time in his second stint as a BBFFL#2 coach which began in 2021. Smooth’s first stint as coach saw him never miss the finals in 6 seasons from 2012 to 2017.
At the other end of the @Aceman will be looking for 3 straight wins to avoid what would be a 3rd straight wooden spoon. Both he and @ivan are locked on 2 wins apiece for the season. Ivan takes on redbull, while Aceman will be tackling Saladin who has a top 4 spot on the line.
Finals will again be a no go zone for @TrevorBix. This will be the 8th straight season he has missed out making the top 8. 2016 remains his one and only finals appearance from 13 seasons as a BBFFL#2 inaugural coach.

My team not been scoring well enough for finals footy
Midfield too impacted. Kelly, Coniglio and Mitchell all still going to be out injured. Fyfe suspended when he would have had a day out v Ess. Hepp prob dropped also
Apologies to smooth who scored 600 points more than me this year yet missed finals. I expect trotters to advance to the next round pretty easily anyway.
This was my last year in the competition. I feel like i’m leaving my list in reasonable shape for the next coach to work with.
Not unsatisfied with my team this week 1500 given recent form and injury issues. Sort of just hanging on at the moment waiting for Touk Miller and a few others to return to the side. If I can sneak by Trotters this week, think I might be in OK shape for the prelim if no more injuries in the meantime.
