Sheesh, even a skerrick of luck against AB could have seen us still alive.

Best of luck to both finalists, looks to be a cracking final.

No empty roster spots so scores stand.

Best of luck to @Allblack & @You_Shall_Be_Smoten.
FA will be this Thursday night (reverse ladder position for those two teams).

Disappointing end to the season for my guys. Will have to get around to doing a B&F write up sometime this week.
It’s unfortunate that I couldn’t spend the season grabbing some players for next year. I’ve got Mason Cox, Darling and McCartin filling roster spots that are worth nothing at the trade table.

What is this “loophole” people speak of?

The deadline to move players around?
Can I move someone out who has already played?

Want to check before I do anything this weekend

It’s putting a player who is pretty poor to average on the bench who is playing before one of the weaker guys in your 18. Usually the bench guy is playing on Friday or Saturday and the guy in the 18 is playing on the Sunday.

I did it with the below:

I used it a bit differently this time.
Oleg Markov played on Friday night. Once I saw his score, I was able to move Hugo Ralph-Smith into the midfield, played Wayne Milera who wasn’t selected (or injured) so that the bench score can be used.

Just make sure that the guy in the 18 (Milera) is no change of being a late in otherwise, it can backfire on you.

I tried to do it almost every week, but there were only 8 games where it helped. The other times, I just left it as it was because the Friday night player was pretty poor.

Available until the end of Saturday games?

You can actually do it at any game.
As long as you have time to shift the player out of your 18 to take the bench players score.

Be mindful that you can’t move players whose team has already moved. But you can move the player out of your 18 and leave an empty spot in the 18. Then I’ll go in and add the score after the round is complete.

Actually…
@You_Shall_Be_Smoten.
Just be careful with it. It can backfire.
So don’t try and be too cute with it.

I mainly stuck to Friday night games because I knew I may miss a few

For instance, in the above, loopholed Tom McCartin well.
I then could have also loopholes Ralphsmith and made his score count. It was halftime during their game and he was on 40~ points. So I checked the Carlton game and Lord wasn’t named as a sub. But I waited for a bit of time and then the Carlton game started just as I was switching Lord out.

So basically, give yourself time to make the adjustments.

yeah having looked at my actual players and the Sunday games, and my time zones, and my likely weekend schedule… think the best I can do is see who is sub for Friday’s game and make sure they are on the bench.

FAs have been processed.

Best of luck to both coaches.

Had nearly run out of patience with Ed Allan, he was wasting away on a wing last year and start of this year.
Gone inside to finish off the VFL year and come alive, now doing it at AFL level. Good lesson to hold fire for me

High scoring game here I think. Much depends on the Essendon - Brisbane match

Going to be a roller coaster tomorrow.

I’ve banked the Melksham score over letting Cadman loose so a lead of 222 to AB and I’ve got 3 players in hand.

Game 1: Perryman and Treloar vs Kelly
Game 2: Saad and Steele
Game 3: Butters vs Rioli

Best of luck @Allblack may we both be sub and injury free

You’re in a very good position. I will need a bit of luck from here

Smoten favourite you’d think from here. AB holds 77 point lead, with Steele and Saad chewing into that at the start of the third quarter of the Blues/Saints game. Then for the final game it’s Smotens Butters versus Willie Rioli.

I would never cheer for an injury but if something should happen to Butters I would be OK with it

50 point lead at 3/4 in the Blues/Saints game for AB. Smoten would love Steele and Saad to get that back to evens for the Freo/Port game.

Lead is down to 37, nine minutes played in the last term. Saad is on the bench.

Couple of big minutes for Smotes , lead down to 23.

18 plus Rioli against Butters. Rioli capable of 80s. Need a hard tag on Butters.
