Our season could be done and dusted in the first 8 rounds we will then be playing catch up for the remainder of the year,then run out of gas and miss out on a finals spot.
GWS and FARK CARLTON seemed to benefit from a harder start and then coming home with a wet sail this year.

So Essendon’s draw difficulty is rated a 4 with “no excuses” despite 11 games against top 8 sides, whilst Fremantle is rated a 8 for difficulty with a reasoning of “11 games against the top 8”.
Fox ranks Fremantle as having the easier draw than us (7th easiest versus 8th), but ranks Gold Coast as having the easiest draw in the comp despite Herald Sun rating them as having one of the hardest.

Yeah, should be a third ground for the Sunday dead fixtures like North-Fremantle and for whenever they need Marvel for something like rugby/soccer.

Would love to turn Windy Hill into a proper AFL venue make it the capacity of Marvel will never happen of course.

I dont quite get how they say our draw is “soft”.
Its as per the formula.
You finish middle 6 you play 1 top 6 double up(we got the premiers), 1 bottom 6 double up we got the spooners. But the midde? doubled up against 3 of 4 which are interstate sides?
How is that soft?
If it was 2 and 2 vic/interstate middle sides then it would have been absolutely bang on average.

The better you are the easier the draw.
So Dreamtime at the G isn’t a marquee game anymore.

Yep or they could put their big boy pants on, play hard, not take a step back, earn a swagger and set themselves up for an honest tilt at achieving something other than looking good in the mirror. We will know pretty early on ide suggest.

Im guessing they dont fly there and just bus/drive……
I doubt they fly.
All the time wasted getting to the airport early only to suffer on a 30 seat Saab packed in like sardines to save maybe 30 minutes. Bus is far more practical
