If Jack Perris actually had 11 tackles in the VFL today I suspect he’s a decent chance of getting picked up.
Based on today’s game only, Perris is a better player than any of J.Davey, Smartt or Wanganeen. Of course that’s current capability only; the others for various reason might have a fair but of upside.

Are there any big boring ruckman (25 or under) that play every week and get the job done. Someone like Briggs from GWS.
The question is would peris make our afl team better right now, the answer is yes to that and in a season where we are hopefully finals bound you upgrade on Davey. I agree his upside isn’t as high, but he is still only 20 and is handy depth in future years too.

We would only need to give a player like that a 6 month contract anyways.
Unless there is a real slider at our pick, which is incredibly doubtful, I hope we use it on someone for the now. I’d even be happy with finding a player who was delisted last year in the hope they could fill a role for just a few games if needed

I heard on SEN that it’s possible that there will be no WA players drafted this year. They are in real strife over there.
I don’t know about their underage system because I haven’t aid much attention this year but that was a very weak SANFL side and they tore them a new one. Mind you the SANFL had a comfortable win over the VFL too recently and it’s a pretty decent comp

I think that comment was a bit hyperbolic, atleast two should get taken weather it’s national or rookie
