2025 draft spec (Part 1)

He sounds better than Greeves

Shades of Clayton Oliver with the late season emergence

Where do you rate him?

He really is. For me he looked the best player on the park today.

I’m really hoping Sharp falls to us.

From all accounts he Captained SA superbly and we are desperate for a gun Mid & leadership.

He & Cumming with our first 2 picks and then meet other needs, whether that be Robey, Pickett, whoever.

Ok. so Robey with our Draper pick

I am too. Hawks made a very public point of Personality drafting… look where it’s got them to. Now theyre scouring the league for the cream to put on top…

Sharp might have a lower ceiling than others in our range but I reckon we need more of his personality type on the list before we’ll ever be successful.

Robey just moved through traffic so well a lot better than you would expect from a big man. He did a move like Pendlebury did where hips go one way player follows then switch and push off other foot and break away.

lots of players do similar now, but he just created space when there was none.
He also has a booming kick on him.

I also like Greeves game. He was on fire in the first quarter.

cannons looked like they were outclassed all day.

Good thing is we will get to see more of Robey in the prelim.

Dovaston was a genuine seagull small forward got on the end of a few.

Sweid reminds me so much of Prestia. I don’t think he had a great game the bits i saw.

Huss delivered a beautiful pass inside 50.

maybe cooper duff-tyler is the one sliding.

Trade up to get Duursma. Take Robey with the Draper comp

Robey must love the gym

I really don’t think Duursma is worth 2 top 10 picks or more

Dean sounds great. We would be remiss not too.

gonna be sickening when he is doing it for the hawks

I can’t remember a player bolting so late in the season. Would be a huge risk/reward play to take Robey with a top 10 pick.

Oliver in his draft year had more of a body of work I believe.

Looks like a young Richo

some had Oliver around the pick 10ish mark a few months out, but he wasn’t really considered to go high until the last minute

phantom drafts mid season didn’t even have him until like late 2nd round iirc

Is he dominating because he’s a man child? Like Will Phillips did?
