Does auto-pick only select from your queue, or will it select a player for me if the queue is empty?
I’m pretty sure it will select Will Brodie for someone at some point DON’T LET IT BE YOU

It should go through your queue first.
If that’s empty, then it’ll take whoever is the highest ranked on your list.
I don’t trust it at all. UF used to let you jump on and confirm if the queue is empty. I suspect they farked this up just like the trading feature.
Anyone know if it actually notifies you when your pick is up? Maybe even an email?

It was after midnight when Awesome_Scotty’s pick came. So he’ll take his first round pick overnight.
I think there’s a good chance that by tomorrow afternoon we’ll reach Smoten’s pick and we should be right to just continue the draft on AFL Fantasy.
I’m hesitant to do any drafting on Blitz as I think it’ll slow things and potentially confuse things further. Once we get on AFL Fantasy, we’ll get through the rounds much quicker.
Sorry was asleep as the draft room was being set, so couldn’t set a queue. I’ve got Langford and Lombard in my queue for auto

Hopefully a few coaches can turn on auto pick to get through the rest of this first round. I used it for my pick at 7 and it worked well as long as you have people in the queue

I’ll give it a trial with my two picks.
I only have Humphrey and Bice in my queue.
I’m not sure what the ‘Enable pick confirmation modal’ setting is. I couldn’t find anything in the help section of AFL Fantasy.

AFL Fantasy really need to add the ability of the commissioner to make picks. It’s crazy they haven’t built in that option.

Yeah.
I was almost tempted to switch keepers to 21 and assign the first round picks to teams, but I’m sure that would have screwed up something else down the line.
There should also be a notification when your pick comes up. If not by email, the app should send a notification at the very least. Still not sure if this occurs. During the season it does injuries specific to your players and team selection notifications.

@redbull There could be a way around it all.
Set up a ‘dumby’ AFL Fantasy account to another email address and replace the member. Take the pick, then switch it back.
But there’s no way I’m trying that.

That’s massively high risk! My daughters both have AFL fantasy log ins but I’m not willing to test it!
What’s going on with this draft? I don’t have a pick until around 60 something so haven’t really checked in.

Yes. After CB’s pick there’s a group that are auto picking.
Once we get into live picking and people get used to using the queue function, it should move quicker than we’ve been used to previously.
Once I’ve had my pick, I’ll take screen grabs of the queue function and what to do which should provide coaches some trust that it actually works as expected.

ChatGPT says that if you have auto-pick on, it will select from your queue only. It will selected the highest ranked player (eg. Will Brodie) only when time has elapsed.
Is it worth experimenting with this to see if that works? If coaches have the confidence to use auto-pick knowing it will only select from queued players this draft would go much faster.

I’ve got two picks coming up.
I’ve got two players in it and have ‘Enable pick confirmation modal’ switched on. I’ll switch confirmation modal off for the second pick.
I think this asks you to confirm if you want to pick up the player and it’ll only auto pick when your time is up.
I’m also hoping it triggers some form of notification on the app.
