I’ve approved him.
It’s been a blast gents. But wanted to give someone else a go. I’ll be enjoying at footy at home in St. Louis.
Looking forward to being on the Goldie for R0 before flying back to US the next day.
I can’t even remember my squad, let alone start thinking of what needs to be done.
That’s positive cause I’ve got his ticket
Do we expect that there may be a revision to the positions on AFL FF before the season starts, or is this locked in?
Not expecting any positional changes.
Some unsigned SSP players might be added though.
I think they had positional changes 3 times through the year last season.
The first one was good (at around round 5 or 6).
The second one was poor (mid year / round 11).
The last one at round 18, but it was next to useless.
They usually just add a position, so if you already have a multiple position player, it’s unlikely it gets changed.
Safe to say that we’re sticking to AFL Fantasy for this season.
I’ll be sending a PM for season payments next week.
I’ll set up AFL Fantasy through the weekend and hopefully the draft order is easily adjustable.
A way I’ve bypassed this in a US fantasy league is pay up two years of fees upfront vs just one.
@Awesome_Scotty & @AVanderScreamer.
That recent trade gets rejected.
It was a late change, but we have removed the capability to trade future draft picks for the time being.
We’ll come up with a better framework for rules around it through the season and get it right by next season.
AFL Fantasy allows you to make player trades for nothing, so once a trade is in the confirmed thread, you are free to process the trade formally on AFL Fantasy.
Can you add Barrass for me please? He was dropped into the FA pool rather than traded to me.
I’m trying to work out how to do it.
@redbull if you work out how to do it, let me know.
All coaches, don’t delist players that you’ve traded. Please use the trade function and trade them. You can do trades with no one coming back.
But from what I can tell, it won’t let you pick anyone up from the free agency list.
@Trotters worst case if Barrass ends up on your keepers list, then when the draft opens I’ll try and find a way to assign him to a spare pick at the end of the draft. Otherwise, pick your 19 and we’ll have to make sure he doesn’t get selected by anyone else and you grab him as a free agent.
Edit…
Found it under settings, pre-draft player allocation. @Trotters, Barrass should be on your list.
Sorry about that, I didn’t know we could trade them for no return (should have read the thread )
No dramas. We’ll know for next year.
I was pretty sure there was a way I could move players around a month ago. But maybe that was only players on a team list.
It won’t let anyone touch a player on the free agency list.
@Split_Infinity Out of interest, does the app say anything about the trade where I sent Curtis to you?
I’m not sure if there’s a notification somewhere on your team page.
no and Curtis has not turned up on my team yet
CORRECTION: didn’t get a notification afaik I found the ‘trade offer’ under players>trades - I accepted the trade but can’t approve the trade, maybe it’s bounced back to you as the admin
CORRECTION #2: I accepted again and it worked and sent him to my team
Reload the page and accept the trade. I think I just cancelled it to see if I could push it through some other way.
Sorry fellas.
I think I screwed up here by pasting an additional round into the draft than needed. I removed the round in an edit, but I think the trade discussions began before the edit.
The draft thread had an extra round of picks that I was saving for an extras round. We had it last year to allow for excess / deficit picks but it’s no longer needed.
Pick 195 cannot be traded.
Apologies.
If you’re ok with it Blummers, in the interests of fairness change it to pick 159.
