Another one for @Split_Infinity & @The_Mad_Bomber
pick 163 isn’t MB’s. MB has 152 and 170 around there. Just let me know which one get’s traded.
Cheers.

How do we do our keepers? Do we just drop players until we have 20?
I think that’s what we do.
It does choose for you if you forget.
I’m not sure how though. Maybe just top 20 DT per game from last year.
Keepers are due by 9pm this Sunday night (AEST), but I’ve set AFL Fantasy to 11:59pm just incase some things go wrong.
If all keepers are in by 9pm, I’ll bring that forward so that I can start sorting out the draft order on AFL Fantasy.
I think when the draft room opens, it’ll allow me to adjust the order for every round.
It’s likely that the first round will be held here on Blitz whilst I sort out the order and issues with AFL Fantasy.
Just a quick heads up with the draft.
I’m not sure how AFL Fantasy will handle excess picks or deficit picks during the draft. I’m hoping it allows you to select a pick and then end the draft and allow you to go into the season with either more of less than 30 players on your list and allow you to sort out the excess / deficit players through free agency leading up to the round 1 game.
If it doesn’t allow the excess players, I’ll keep a list to the side of players who are selected on the side and make sure no one else takes them.
Also…
I just realised I probably don’t need to rush into trading my excess picks before the trade period ends. I can probably just use them to move up and select a player that I want during the trade period. I’ve had a few discussions with other coaches on potential trades, so I’ll probably finalise what I want to do with excess picks by later on tonight.
Hmm…
I was expecting a few trades to be made today.
I certainly didn’t expect 0 trades.
Trade periods halts in ten minutes. Then you have 3 hours to select your 20 keepers.
The deadline probably doesn’t much.
You can still trade for draft picks.
Round 1 picks cannot be traded as soon as the first pick is taken. It’s up to the coach whether they are to take it early or wait until 9am tomorrow morning.
A quick heads up.
There is a chance that the AFL Fantasy App may not allow you to adjust your ‘pre-draft rankings’ once the draft begins. Ultimate Footy was great with this, but it may not allow you to do it.
I was in a Supercoach one and it doesn’t allow you to do anything. So make sure you don’t have ‘auto pick’ selected otherwise it’ll just pick whatever you’re next pick is.
I thought we had till 9. I was out for the day, but I did not know I was going to pretty much go straight to dinner at the in-laws. With no time between to get back to people.
Yep.
You have until 9pm. That should be about the time that the Freo v Melb game ends.
So no huge rush.
Sorry @The_Mad_Bomber.
Trade period is over.
I thought you meant the keeper deadline.
But you can technically trade for a first round pick until the first pick of that round is taken.
You can only trade someone in your keepers list though.
Sorry guys my fax machine shat itself.
When is the draft due to be starting?
I have kicked us off
How do you turn auto pick off? Or is it not doable until the draft starts?
I’ve culled down to 20 keepers.
Once the draft room opens, you’ll be able turn off auto pick.
There should also be a notification when your pick is up.
But we’ll run the first round on here.
I suspect there may be a few delays with keepers and there’s also a chance that the draft order becomes difficult to deal with.
How do I nominate keepers?
Just cut players from your list.
Waiting on keepers from:

I’m not sure who the the auto cut feature will take from teams.
An hour and a half before that kicks in.
