#DENYESSENDON
Crows
Lucky not to lose twice. saved by a flukey Rachele goal.
Is this the first time weâve played Adelaide at the G since the 93 prelim?
Bizarre fixturing, donât know who puts Essendon v Adelaide the G then Essendon b Sydney at Docklands
We could finish bottom 4 and still give us a tough fixture
95 I think. Lloydâs first game.
Kicked the goal with about 15 seconds left to give the Crows a 2 point lead iirc
Was that the one where Salmon kicked a bag?
Sshhhh its before draft night. We can trade back in with it
Looking at the crows draw it looks like they are been really specific asking for next to no games at marvel.
Probably just a failure to do maths: we started in year 0, not year 1, so 2024 would be the end of a 25-year contract.
Too much changes across off-seasons, and the competition is broadly so even, I donât think assessing fixture difficulty is a worthwhile endeavour.
Good teams win 14+ games. Average teams win 8-13. Poor teams anywhere in the 3-7 range.
I think Essendon is an average team and will win between 8-13 games in 2025.
I donât think thatâs the case. I know they were pushing for 2 or 3 MCG games and whenever they play Collingwood and Richmond in Melbourne itâs always at the MCG and then Iâm guessing we are the only other high drawing Vic side they have so the AFL scheduled our game to the MCG.
I donât think the Crows have played Richmond in Melbourne for about 7 or 8 years BTW
Good job
Round 14, 1995 to be exact. Itâll be 30 years between drinks.
Jesus
Is the 1-6, 6-12 and 13-18 split based on positions at the end of the H&A season or after finals?
That was Lloydâs first game and from memory we thumped them that day.
Would be great to do the same in 2025 but I doubt it.
