I’m happy with a pretty hard draw. If we go well, we prove we can match the best and if we go badly, we get a high draft pick. No more middle of the road.

What would you have the club or how should the club react to a fixture that has a single stakeholder (AFL House) running the show? Boycott games? Complain to the media?…sometimes you have to pick which hill you want to die on.

The draw is the draw. If you are good enough you win most games.
Only SA game this year is gather round. Probably because we played over here 3 times this year.
So come on all, the fixture isn’t that tough for us

We beat Crom in SA and lost to them at home. I’d rather play them in SA tbh.
Never change Blitz. Same as last year the panic merchants are whinging we will start the seaon 0-4. It’s like we should only have to play 3 teams over and over that we get to pick, and if we lose any matches we should then get to swap that team out.
Here’s a question for you… How many teams in the last 20 years or so have won the premiership with the “easiest” draw based on previous year finishing positions?
If its zero as I suspect, why the fark does everyone want the easiest draw???

An “easy” fixture would be wasted on us. It’s not as though we filled our boots against North, West Coast and Richmond the past couple of years anyway.

Exactly.
We are a bottom four team. Any fixture is hard for us.
The point we should take away is that the AFL recognise that the Bomber faithful show up regardless of team performance. We fill stadiums, that looks good on TV and good on the balance sheet.
So we get exploited for that reason. Lots of prime time games that will benefit us financially, but honestly just showcase our opponents on field performance.

Well, I am 100% not even worried about our draw. Couldn’t care less hopefully they get flogged and we get a primo pic and can pick up a bull midfield next year. Melbourne’s however, is a concern. I’m going to be riding there fixture every damn game.
It’s only a hard draw because all the other teams are better than us.

I don’t have any problem with the fixture - we get to see where we really are. If we (as the majority think) that we’re a bottom 4-6 team then that won’t be masked by an easy draw. If we make the 8, then it’ll be on the back of winning some tough games

I see myself as a typical supporter who wants the best seats at Marvel and the G, with free carparking.
I want every game at either MCG or Marvel (including all proposed instrerstate games), and all on a Satruday afternoon at 2;20 pm start, VFL games before starting at 11:10 am. No farking music, no prematch BS, Little League and Baby Races are OK, except all young Mothers have to be very cute.
Am I asking too much ?
