It’s an absolute indictment on him to not be making the top 10 in the club B&F to be honest.
You don’t need to be the best player to be captain but fk me swinging, it’s not as though we are laden with stars. He should be pretty embarrassed with that.
Parish, Langford, duursma, fiorini,
It’s a disgrace really
Tell him to get a new hairstyle please.
A brighter note how good was the fatty doco.
Had plenty of time to watch it during dinner and dessert breaks
Reckon we adopt a clubhouse captain and an onfield gameday skipper model. That’d suit appointing Duz and he isn’t laden with the off fueld sponsorship etc. stuff.
Caldwell 17 games
Duursma 18 games
Langford 19 games
McGrath 20 games
Parish 14 games
McKay 15 games
Perkins 16 games
Redman 16 games
These are guys that played a large chunk of the year and should be classed as leaders yet provided nothing for the kids to aspire to
Surprised prior is as low as he is, and surprised Reid is as high as he is
Day Wicks would have just missed the top 10 with 32 votes minimum and May had 24 votes from just 10 games. More promising signs for our kids.
Damning on Mcgrath to not even crack the top 10.
Maybe. But how many back pocket players get votes in any comp ?
7 of em !
Disgraceful
A lot who didn’t play a full season
The B&F system is set up for role players to succeed.
Prior is in there for goodness sake.
Should had given Peter Wright the medal, has worked harder than any other player on ground even Caddy and Sharp he is a trooper and really does deserve finals/premiership success at Essendon
Ouch.
Congratulations Zach, well played. Bye.
He’s not one of our greatest, he is playing in a team of Slow Horses.
Exactly. For him to win it 3x in a row says something about our list.
I didn’t think Sammy had a great season, so for him to finish second kinda sums up the year.
And strangely enough, Zac might feel that him winning 7 crightons just emphasizes how much the club has failed around him.
Disagree on this, consistency wise yes but Duzz had some of the best games of his career this season
