I don’t know about what others think however to me this is welcome news.
Less Thursday / Friday / Saturday night games and more afternoon games. Overall this is welcome news for country fans and families who will likely get more games to choose from in 2026.
Hopefully more Saturday afternoons than Sunday afternoons, but Sunday afternoons is all we deserve.
I think that will suit most fans and members fine. I reckon most had a gut full of all those Thursday / Friday night games this year 
Yep was not a family friendly fixture last year at all.
Sunday twilight OH BABY
Going to make us wait all week end just to watch us lose. when Essendon fans don turn up and get North level crowds for Sunday AFL will put us back on prime time
What a relief. Seriously last season going with a child and leaving at half time every match was a bit difficult. Honestly give me the Sunday afternoon games every day or saturdays. Way better and way more “prime time” for me
The more Sunday twilight games the better, gives me a good excuse not to go over

Those Thursday and Friday night games when we were injury depleted were so empty it felt like a library.
Bring on the Sunday 1.10 and 4.40 games. Actually easier to get to and we can lose disgracefully in the background.
Hardly our fault. The AFL did the fixtures for the last 8 rounds and we were well and truly outof form and injury depleted by then. In fact, even just before then, we were only just beating more ordinary teams than us, hardly justification for giving us prime time.
I prefer day games, get to take the family at least

Nothing beats Port or Freo at Marvel, 4:40pm on a Sunday. Sitting in a half empty stadium, drinking a ■■■■ $13 beer from a plastic cup, watching Essington in full flight. It’s when you really start questioning your choices and how you’re living your life. Good times.

I’ll take Saturday afternoon/twilight, and Sunday afternoon for every game. Sunday twilight can FRO though.
