Could be a steal but jeez does it say something about everyone else. Effort and form of 3/4 of our team is embarrassing.
He’ll have that effort beaten outta him in a few years time don’t worry.
Solid game again, had a couple of turnovers but continued to make he’s kicks.
Could be a chance at rising star.
This kid good.
Another travesty of justice that he didn’t play more games. We could all see it in the VFL, the boy can play. Him, Bryan and Caddy are some of the bright lights out of the car-crash of a late season fade-out.
He was visibly gassed in the end but somehow I still saw him all over the ground! I think he’s fast becoming one of my favourite players…
He is a lovely kick when he slows down, when he rushes he shanks them.
He does play for the ‘wrong’ team, though. Of course he should be in the Rising Star contenders. But, as we all know, he won’t be.
This kid’s got a real competitive streak in him that I haven’t seen from any Essendon player drafted to the club in the last 20 years other than Zac.
Okay so… this kid has all the attributes you need to become a good footy player. He is competitive and finds the ball, is quite composed aswell. It is remarkable really, we just dont have players like that, they are mostly like Cox. Anyways I look forward seeing him for the next 2+ years develop his game.
I legitimately wrote what i said without seeing this beforehand and its spot on. Some kids just have this competitive edge that can make them become elite and he has it. We dont have many players like that. Caddy has it aswell
Durham says excuse me
Turned a few over, but backs himself to go for aggressive kicks despite being a newbie, I like it.
Please Brad… keep him at half-back.
Remember Brad fought hard not to get this kid a game.
Did he? Did he really?
I enjoyed it when he got told off for pushing and shoving in the 3rd quarter. Showed he cares, is a competitor and a fighter. Let’s hope we don’t Essington it out of him.
How about thinking a bit more laterally. Roberts was not a high draft pick. Recruiting department prefer their top picks doing better and playing AFL so they don’t look stupid
Dodoro should just be thankful any of his picks are playing AFL between the number of injuries they suffer and his lack of talent footballing skill identification.
fluffed a few kicks, but not surprising from a 3rd gamer.
was one of the few I saw actually try and lay a shepard.
constantly saw him at both ends of the ground
was actually congratulating players for good bits of play
stood up to loeman when he pushed a player.
the kid has shown more in 3 games than half the list have in 5 plus year careers.
