#21 Dyson "Go jam it” Heppell - goes alright

People will read it in different ways

I don’t read it as such

They want him to stay (but on 1yr term) and being a one club player is valued. If doesn’t do so it is what it is. Dyson’s choice.

Does not confirm at all he is leaving.

If Rutten can have a big say in some seriously delicate list management decisions at the end of the season (including with Heppell), I could almost tolerate another season with him as coach.

He seems to have a harder edge, from an external view, to these type of decisions compared with his colleagues…

But Dyson wants more than a year so the end result is that unless something changes, he will be elsewhere

What someone wants in a negotiation doesn’t always work out. Especially if not in any position of strength/leverage.

He’s not necessarily leaving if doesn’t get what they are pushing/hoping for at EFC.

There was a period in history when tulips were legal currency.

So 1700s Kontiki spring holidays to holland were very popular.

Yeah, I was hoping the Great Tulip Bubble was something the older Blitzers might remember.
And less obscure than the South Sea Bubble

Seamless. Deep fake at it’s best.

And take us to the wooden spoon

From what truck said today seems we are not fussed either way with heppel if he decides to stay or go choice is up to him

Sam Edmund back tracking and saying that we’ve improved out offer. If he’s offered captaincy for two more years I’ll go full Joe Pesci, home alone styles

Truck was talking about Hurley and the dynamics around him, my wish would be for Hepp to get a good contract elsewhere, we get a draft pick to use on/towards Davey/Munkara etc. and if Hurley is up to it, for him to fill the leadership void Hepp will leave. Might be optimistic but would be win/win for all.

Edmund is a twat, didn’t know what he was talking about and is back pedalling. That’s the way I see that.

Edmund legit makes stuff up. Most journos do but Edmund is next level.

There isn’t a chance that the media is just making ■■■■ up as they go, is there?

Because Essendon/Heppell have not said a heap, but the story seems to change every second day.

Never! They are the bastion of truth and honesty.

The 2 Kennedys retiring and one even kicks 8 goals in his last game yet we have an uninspiring lame duck trying for a bigger contract offer for next year. Honestly? Door. Hit. ■■■■.

My favourite part is how the media have dressed it up, insinuating that fans won’t be happy. For the most part, the fans understand and are encouraging if he got a better offer

I’m thinking more Michael Douglas in Falling Down
