Watch the moment Dyson Heppell announces his retirement to the playing group.
Thanks for your loyalty Dys… I know I haven’t always been your biggest supporter, but I won’t forget your willingness to lead the club during the worst shitstorm it ever had to deal with.
Navigated us out of hell did Hepp. Never forget.

Would be nice to win a last game for him. Have we ever won a milestone game for him? It would be particularly poignant that we win his final game against the Swans given teh sh*t show his 200th was against them.
Great Club man all the best for the future.
Excellent farewell speech to the group.

He will be back as a assistant coach
Congrats on a fantastic career you were a warrior for the club during its darkest time in keeping the place together
All the best Dys
Yep i see that too his laid back larrikin style is perfect for tripple m
I’m reviewing the possibility we will beat Sydney this week after that speech
Couldnt get him a win in his 200th against Swans be fantastic if they can do it this time for his farwell match
Really hope not no more jobs for the boys
Dosent look like the type to me that screams being a coach
He deserves a fairwell game. We don’t deserve to make the finals, so bring in Hepp.
Geez, Brad’s speech at the end of that video was excellent.
Happy with where the club is at hey!
A big dog up ya to anyone that called this guy selfish on this forum. I hope you can all shut the fark up now.
While his ability has faded over the years, he has never been a selfish person on the field or off it.
I remember that Brisbane game where he ran straight into the incoming player and knocked himself out cold. He saw them coming and didnt take a step back, for his team mates and the club. That summed him up pretty well.
An absolute champion person, and at one point a very very good player.
Go well in retirement Dys.
