If we end up with those picks, surely we could put together an acceptable trade for Treloar?
Why don’t they keep 8, we give our 2 second round draft picks this year, and next year’s first? They get to keep pick 8 this year plus gain the 2 second round draft picks they need to bid on their academy picks. We get Treloar. In fact, since we’re doing them such a favour, I’d make next year’s draft offering second round to start with.

Did anyone read Mr Sunbury post? He wants to go to saints so we could still be in trouble. Saints will probably drag it out until 5 minutes before end of trade period so we can’t deal with hawks.
If Disco could get the saints to agree to 5 and 24.
Then we swap 24 and 25 to GWS for 8.
Then we would have 4,5,8 and 23.
I think we need to push Jake and take the Hawks deal. Firstly I think it is fair. Second it allows us to seriously chase pick 8. Third it sends a big message to the next club that wants to trade with us… that when we say a price… we mean it and if you fark around we will go somewhere else.
