#23 Harrison Jones

He’ll say the same thing in 2024.

Are we talking about jones or daniher here? Because I’m getting serious deju vu reading this

Your ‘source at the club’ just happened to give you negative news about the player you’ve been highly critical of for a while now?

Bill has been making the same point for probably a year, so even if he is crazy, at least he’s consistent.

Harry really does have to get his ■■■■ together this off-season. It would be great to see him come back bigger and better.

If he comes back looking the same… I would question his dedication.

That might be the case if he had had 4 preseason training stints, but we all know he hasn’t. At best, he has had a couple of preseasons which have seriously impacted his ability to train and gain consistency, but don’t let a pesky fact get in the way.

‘Source at the club’ or ‘voice in my head’ ?

In 3 years time, the same questions will be asked regarding him. Cut the losses and trade him. Might get a 4th rounder for him.

here’s a tale we’ve heard before …

for Jones? yeah nah

Jones, nah, yer

If his manager is ■■■■■■ then he might seek a trade out. There is no doubt he would get picked up by another club. We will get very little for him.

Oh Daniher was much worse from what I’ve been told ….including out drinking 3-4 days before a game

Please tell

Jones had significant impact as a young raw KPF a couple of years ago when fit. I agree that he could use a few kegs, but as the third tall, he’d be Hipwood but (hopefully) better.

Do back stress fractures allow you to bulk up during recovery?

I googled because I was curious. This is what I got:

The athlete should not participate in the sport that caused the injury for at least 12 weeks, even if the pain subsides within this period. The bone tissue needs time to heal. In the meantime, the athlete can stay fit by performing alternative, pain-free, exercises. For example, cycling, swimming, and general strength training.

Well that makes no sense. That advice says don’t do the same sport even if you are pain free, presumably since you would risk putting load on the bones that were stressed, but perform alternative pain free exercises. This would only be safe if you were certain you weren’t loading up the same bones, eventhough the activity is different.
In Jones’ case, avoid playing football (assumes football activities cause the stress fracture…??), but maybe do weights. Ah, no. Don’t risk a different activity loading up the affected bone.
