I reckon Jones would be looking to get a bit more injury free footy under his belt. If he does and shows good form then his next deal might be a lot more lucrative.
If not then he will likely get another smaller deal with us or someone else anyway.

Sensible deal with the 1 year. Has been bandied around that heās a bit lazy off the field so think this might be the kick up the bum required.

Cultural change has to take place on various levels.
Hope he has a great year, heās got potential - but also hope this list management approach is indicative of something more ingrained in the attitude of the club.

Well yes, itās Dodoro + Jones and Jonesās manager at a minimum.
Fair chance that Jones wouldnāt have been interested in the peanuts deal he would have been offered for 2 years anyway, so might have preferred to back himself in to have a big year.
