I think you’re talking about Wright. He drops marks a bit more than he should, and has a tendency to run under the ball.

Draper might not be a great reader but it doesn’t mean his marking is bad.

On lead, you’d take Wright over him, that goes without saying, but in a pack, I’m putting my money on Draper.

Wright’s the complete opposite, flimsy body, reads it well, good hands.
And takes a heck of a lot more marks.

Draper’s the bloke who’s likely to drop most marks but then win it with ferocity on the ground like a small. What happens next with the kicking is the variable.

I’m really looking forward to seeing Nick out there& I just hope he’s given a decent amount of time as a forward also rather than just ruck on & off the bench.

Yep.
I think he will end up being pretty good at playing that role of busting open those big packs, but he’s clearly not a good mark by any definition. At least not yetz

For a young big man with very little experience, I really loved his pressure when the ball was on the ground. You don’t see that from big guys. Keep playing him please.

Wow good game.

Added something different in the ruck and at ground level.

Another target up forward. Can take a contested mark & good kick

Agree. His fitness and around the ground work in 1st game was sorely lacking. Coumdn’t get to contests.

He’s gone back to the grindstone and fixed all this. Going to be better than Draper IMHO.
