What really matters is what the posters did/said to get lifetime bans.
I’ve got his autograph in a little book I was gifted many years ago.
Tony Antrobus, Geoff Parker, Steve Clark, Ed Considine, Andrew Manning, David Johnston and Andrew Underwood among the other signatories.
I distinctly remember the ladies in my family were very happy with Andrew Underwood
I met Underwood and Ed Considine in Cairns once upon a time. They were on an end of season trip, and l was on holidays. Gulf war 1 was declared while l was actually in the air, the captain of the plane actually made an announcement.
I have no memory of him at all. The only reason I know he was an EFC player is because he signed this little book.
There are a couple of signatures in there that even after all these years I can’t make out. It’s from 1989; I just did some research and I think one of the unknowns is Michael Strickland. There’s someone signed with #42, but it’s definitely not Brad Fox like the list I found says (I think it might be Keenan Reynolds). But I guess most of the list signed it, including Sheedy, all four Daniher brothers, Madden, Watson, Salmon, Thompson, Harvey, Long, Bewick, Foulds, Van Der Haar, Duckworth, Ezard.
Anway, no more derailing the Prior thread.
Agree Keenan Reynolds was #42
Jaxon seems to be playing the deepest lock down defender role, has all pre-season and always with the A team.
He looks like he will be picked to play on the medium sized power fwds.
You only notice him at training when you spot his lovely left foot kick.
So at this stage it looks like Prior to play Kelly’s role, Shiel to play Heps and Roberts vs Saad for the wing role
I suppose it doesn’t help the A team is always smashing the B team.
Makes me wonder how we’ll line up if all defenders are healthy then. Prior off the IC to give Shiel or McG a break … or sub maybe?
If we go with a hb line of Redman Reid Shiel, our preferred fb line I’d have thought would be
McG McKay Ridley wouldn’t it?
Guess we’ll find out.
Time will tell.
Yes, but we usualy have 7 defenders, one comes off the bench
yeah i think it’s likely to come together like this
mcgrath Mckay Reid
redman rids shiel
(prior) on the bench
lav hayes roberts depth
Good to see us try to replicate the system that got us to 12th.
I hope Sam Mitchell doesn’t have a quiet word with Robert’s management.
Not hearing much about Jaxon in training reports- will he be staring in our best 23 or VFL at this stage?
If training is anything to go by he should be playing round 1 in Kelly’s old position.
Interesting - I thought Roberts did pretty well last year as a medium type defender - SEH another option & no doubt Brad Scott will be giving Laverde games also…
I think the locks are;-
Reid McKay McGrath
Ridley Redman Shiel
So you can probably only have 1 of Prior/Roberts/SEH/Lav off a bench or as SUB to support that back 6
Roberts looked great, and I really hope they persist with him, but from what I’ve heard, he hasn’t been turning many heads this offseason (He’s still just 19). I feel like Saad is more suited for a wing role. And fingers crossed that Hayes has moved past Lav by now too.
Mackay is not a lock…done bugger all to date. Laverde more likely
Are you trolling, i am never able to tell the difference between a troll and someone who is a visitor from another planet.
McKay is 100% a lock at this point, body permitting. (In my opinion )
