I hope you are kidding, he is already better.
Lol, no he’s not.
That isn’t saying Voss is some superstar but he’s definitely a better AFL forward than Archer May at this point in time.
He is a better celebrator, not a better player in my view. Voss is a statue for 99% of the game, eventually he gets lucky and one will fall into his arms. May gets his own ball.
Holy ■■■■, do some people actually believe the stuff they write?

Sprained ankle at the very least according to Scott. we all know what that means. R.I.P.
It’s probably a Cindy Moses. Lucky for him he has a contract so put him on ice for 2025.
Didn’t look like he put too much weight through it as it happened (he was just standing by himself). So hopefully just a sprain.
he’s good at leading up to the ball. has kicked goals with good follow up at ground level. monster kick. eats a 9 egg omelette as a snack between main meals.
what is there not to see?
caddy, mcmahon and may - what a great bunch of young KP forwards who will all get better with experience. what they also need are 3 kakos to compliment them, and we’re flying.
Clearly Sydesmaysis
I think Caddy and McMahon both show more forward craft than May, but he could certainly become a handy “big” man key forward. I’d like to see him develop his game and take more contested marks, ala Hooker or Carlisle, before we cement his spot. But the overall signs are good.
I agree with the comment above that surrounding May, McMahon and Caddy with 3 excellent smalls is a good start to a developing forwardline. But more importantly, we need to get a Josh Lindsay or two to be the ones kicking the fwd 50 entry.
Maybe you should watch a bit more closely.
He’s going to have ( admits grudgingly) one of the games best exponents of key forward movement patterns in his ear all preseason / summer. He has a frame and the strength to be a bail- out option if the mids/forwards / ball use ever get on the same page. He’s only 20yo. There’s a lot of upside here and it’s not a long shot that he cashes in on at least some of it.
Archer might end up better but right now he isn’t and I do find the constant put down of Voss as very bizarre. He must be pretty “lucky” for the ball to drop into his arms so often. If one of our players kicked 6 at the MCG against one of our biggest rivals Blitz would be frothing like a Scouts camp over a packet of Sao’s.
Couple of nice clunks last night. That’s what I want to see from him.
Also want to see some maturity/poise from him where he knows he has licence to kick at goal from anywhere inside 55, 2MP style. Hopefully a summer full of set shots will get him to understand his ability at the set shot (or rather its place in the team with the help of teammates and coaches in his ear) so that he can really go for it whenever he gets an opportunity.
Voss is gone. I’d be comparing him with Jones, and imo, he’s shown more than Jones already.
A fly without wings has shown more than Jones.
I love how you drop into any thread on Blitz and Harry Jones is just getting drive-bys no matter the context
I never talk about Jones, first comment on him for a some time. So not sure why you said that?
