Jake ricardi from GWS for dropped again
Is he any chance to stay over here?
I believe heās still got a business in WA.
If we make finals, make him sub.
If he doesnāt go around again, as in not given a new contract, he will most likely return to the family vineyard.
Heād be a great get.
If only he was much good.
You are describing 2021
Whats with the obsession with giving jobs for the boys.
Why would we be so keen to make him a coach.
He probably got paid 6-7 million at least in his career, there is a soft cap and this is not a charity.
If he should be a coach then great, go learn in the wafl or something.
last year, finished outside the 22 as a defender . this year, finishes outside the 22 as a forward
I dont mean to sound harsh, but all this talk from people around āIām okay with one more year as depthā etc is just plain silly. itād be far more reasonable he retires knowing he got the most out of himself this year, rather than spending a year in the twos wasting a list spot
I love hooker, but thereās not really any reason to keep him on.
Good idea. So if Zach Merrett gets concussed, weāll bring onā¦Cale Hooker.
Middle of the season I was on the āgive him another yearā train but as much as I love the guy to bits, itās just time. We have young key players aplenty coming through, Hurls as potential grizzled key depth and weāve just looked better balanced up there with the two key targets. Make no mistake, this saddens me every bit as much as not seeing Jobe get any club success. Would be nice if he stuck around this club he loves so dearly in some capacity but has every right to finally head home to his vineyards or something in WA footy.
So⦠rumour mill is that a retirement announcement is imminentā¦
SEN running with un named source that Hooksy will announce today, or it is imminent.
Deserves to play a farewell in front of the fans, fingers crossed
Oh so sad
Its ironical that a player who pretty much tops our goal kicking in 2021 has no option but to walk, but yes, itās time.
The whole team deserves to play in front of the fans, but it is what it is.
And ā ā ā ā you to any media organisations who play that footage of him chasing Buddy as part of his tribute package, like Foxsports did in the past
The performance of Francis and in particular 2MP last match spelled out that the end is near for Cale. He has been a wonderful servant of the club, if he is to retire soon, l wish him nothing but good fortune for the rest of his days in whatever endeavour he chooses to pursue.
Iām shattered.
Heart and soul of a tortured club during a very long decade.
Deserved better
Iām still filthy at the club going so weak at this 250 mockery
