Good to see the good Redman finally
Can add the ādogā back to his name.

Mason Redman
Are you even a modern defender if youāre not an intercept specialist? Thatās not a problem for the Bombersā Redman, whose career-high numbers in intercept marks and intercept possessions this season rate him elite and above average, respectively.
No shortage of opportunities to work on those particular stats this season so farā¦
Reckon he played really well today. Had a couple of ordinary ones this season, but has been one of our better players overall from what Iāve seen.
The wingiest winger thatās ever winged
I wonder if we could drop Cox and play him there.
This guyā¦ seriously.
His errors are so so so costly
Dale in and Redman to the wing.
Donāt get me wrong, Redman does a lot of good things, but is seriously prone to this mindless ā ā ā ā .
There is no excuse as a professional athlete under no pressure to lack such vision.
Really ā ā ā ā ā ā me off.
Was a poor kick, but heās at least trying to do something other than sideways handball or long kick up the line.
Essendon couldnāt make a decent decision if their life depended on it.
What a laughing stock.
Iād rather go sideways than lace out to the opposition.
We go sideways and backwards more often than not. Watching the Bulldogs today you see the importance of gaining field position with long passes. Something we just donāt do. I would continue to encourage Redman to take those kicks on. Heās one of the few players we have who can do it.
redman is the epitome of participation award syndrome.
everyone keeps likcing his nuts for the 1 or 2 kicks like that that come off, saying oh wow youāre so great, youāre a superstar keep doing it.
someone needs to tell him, heās not dean rioli. he is not good enough to CONTINUALLY trying those kicks.
play within your limits.
If not ā ā ā ā him off from the side. you canāt have a ā ā ā ā ā ā ā backman constantly turning the ball over cos heās trying to pinpoint passes heās incapable of making.
We had 26 turnovers in our back half today, of which they scored 8.2 against us. Mason was responsible for 7 of these. Almost 25 years old and 60 odd games played, it aināt good enough to have 25% of your touches come back over your head for scoring opportunities.
Heās a box of chocolates each week.
He has a few too many howlers in my opinion. That being said our movement up the field is pretty bad. Not a lot of clear options to go to.
Yeah exactly.
There are turnovers then there are redman turnovers.
I canāt count the amount of times heās directly cost us a goal and me a vessel.
Itās a shame he can be quite good at times.
