#28 Ned “Cahl” Cahill - Fark Carlton lover

I remember an art teacher who knew l was a big bomber fan in primary school told me he knew Terry Cahill, and did l want to meet him. Even at that age sounded like bs to me so told him not interested. 5 years later the dodgy b@#tard got done for abusing a kid. Dodged one there.

Either way it seems we could have a handy player to replace Raz if he requests for a trade again

Or even if he requests a trade for the first time.

I’m not convinced that was anything but Trade Radio nonsense. It sounded as if Port were taken aback that he didn’t contact them when he went back to Adelaide.

I’m less concerned about Raz leaving than Joe. Seems like Port and Adelaide are both peeved that he “lead them on”.

looks a steal in the draft… His average stats are great.
18.3 disp (above average)
8.8 contested poss (above average)
1.4 goals (elite)
1.7 score assists (elite)
6.4 score involvements (elite)

I reckon the ones who led them on were Mark McGowan and the buffoons on Trade Radio.

Although there is a possibility that his manager did a Connors off his own bat.

Steal of the draft? Lets wait and see when they redo the draft order in 5 years time.

I have high hopes for him.

Having a good nose for goal and ball winning ability are great attributes to have.

Snelling and Cahill together will cause some damage I think and hopefully release the pressure a little off Walla and Fantasia.

Walla and Fantasia have proven ability to impact on ball in spurts and with Snelling and with a little development into Cahill we have two players that can rotate on ball and small forward.

There are also Smith and Mosquito, but I would expect Mossie to be less crash and bash and more elusive than Smith, Snelling / Cahill at least in the early stages .

Not just in the early stages. He plays a totally different game. Mozzie should be complimentary to those guys rather direct competition.

This guy is hard as nails, and likes it rough, he will be a monster, Stephen Milne, but with morals.

Stephen Milne, only less rapey.

Should we play all 4 small guys on the fwd line?

Add 1,3,5,7 and 9 and we have a several very small players in the team. But very fast. That’s why I am happy with the recruitment of Townsend, Hibberd and Cutler. Some bigger bodies to complement the other smaller lighter bits.

It’s an interesting question. I think a lot will depend on how Joe and Stewart recover.

Snelling I think is a lock. I really like what he brings to the side with his tenacity and skill. Cahill looks very much in the same mould. He will get games next season I think.

Training watchers, is there any love for this kid over the summer?

Has looked very self-assured and “AFL ready” in the training sessions I’ve watched.

If he can play like Papley that would be great
