2MP - he’s Wright mate

The “slow” bit was my impression too.
So a bit surprised to hear how well he’s supposedly running at training.
Is it a lack of acceleration, has he been poorly coached (remembering Saad’s comments when he first transferred), or something else that gives that impression?

I can’t remember wanting him, but I will support him as much as I did Zac Clarke.

Solly is our new senior assistant how to be a tough bastard coach

Wasn’t Solomon his coach at Gold Coast?

Yep.

Not so sure about that. 50-100 extra landings, for a big fella, every training.
That is absolutely an increased injury risk, far moreso than goal kicking.
But yes he should work on his weaknesses, within reason.

Don’t need to leap. Taking a mark at full reach would be enough to get the hand eye coordination happening.

But yeah, if he’s doing massive jumps constantly, that’d cause problems

Agree Im thinking a Smack 2.0. serviceable and frustrating at times, with a few breakout games inbetween

If it’s Smack 2.0 without the Frees Against we’re massively ahead.

I’m actually slightly more bullish about 2MP than most around here. Could be a very nice surprise.

I think I’m going to join @scotty21 on the TMP train. I reckon he will be a very good acquisition for us.

2MP will give us more than SMack did, but not more than JD at his best. Whether JD can get back to his best again is a separate issue.

True but a good consistent effort you can count on is better than wondering which JD your going to get this week, or if infact he will take the field at all.
