That’s right, his kicking was decent to very good across that year and at times very damaging (in a good way). Especially for a midfielder that won that much of the ball. There’s a reason why he won those awards, even in games we lost.
Anzac Day: Essendon defeated Collingwood
Anzac Day Medal: D. Parish
Dream Time: Richmond defeated Essendon
Yiooken Award: D. Parish
Country Game: Geelong defeated Essendon

How Farken cooked is this guy? been out for years. Is he even going to remember how to play football.
His diabolical kicking efficiency to the side, he averaged 29 touches and 7 clearances a game this year. He can still play
He collects the ball but butchers it
Liability and is now depth only
Agree, he collects a lot of the ball and butchers it and Brad will select him regardless.
If he goes down again this year it could be the worst long term contract the club has ever done.
Not sure, but his golf swing has come on leaps and bounds
Could be like a brand new recruit if he comes back fit and healthy. Can football
Can play, if fit.
Parish, Gresham and McKay along with every first round pick lately have set us back 10 years. And Brad Scott another 5
No body wants him. We would happily let him go for a good price but there are no offers
Parish appears to be moving very well at the training sessions. In full flight he’ll be a valuable option for the midfield rotations.
Need him to have an injury free year so we can at least get something for him at trade time
Would have liked to have seen the club get more aggressive with the list changes.
10 wasn’t enough. Needed at least 2 more, Darcy being one of them.
Hope that contract was front ended otherwise we’ll have to pay some of his salary
I’d happily see the club pay some
It’s the start of December and he hasn’t done a soft tissue injury, should give inness a pay rise
Ahhh Xavier, you’ve given up your true identity. Time for a new burner account I guess
Following him on Instagram he looks really fit and happy.
There is a photo of him in the gym with Hepp, Prior, Clarke, 2MP and Rids. They all look in ripping shape. Also a photo of all the boys in Christmas outfits. They look pretty bonded.
Good luck to him, hopefully he gets a good run at it in 2026. I love watching him play in full flight.
Yeah I hope for his own sake that he can play regularly next year. It would be tough getting injuries like he has the last 2-3 seasons.
The lads have never had trouble bonding over beers.
It’s the bonding on the field that brings you to tears.
