Then we might get a third round pick for him
Not worth it rather keep him
Best case scenario Stringer is fit and firing and he takes Caddy under his wingā¦
I should say that I am referring to on field guidanceā¦
So weāve basically upgraded from Jacob Townsend (Voss) to Charlie Curnow (Caddy).
Think everyone here should be able to live with that.
Stringer is the sort of player you need to build a side around to maximise his abilities, but his output actually isnāt high enough to warrant building a side around (imo).
āYouāre the guy thatās going to make me a bigger legend at this club than Sheedyā
I reckon we have nailed the past couple of drafts with Hobbs, Tsatas and Caddy. Really hitting all the key needs. Grunt inside mid, explosive outside runner, hulking marking beast forward. Add in getting Mackay to the mix and I think we have done pretty well. Pretty comfortable with that.
Good build for an 18 year old kid, especially at his height
He is on SEN sometime after 4 if you can stomach him bring interviewed by Gaze and Maher.
Gaze asking the hard hitting questions like āAre you a gamer?ā
yeah nah.
Andy, use 500 hundred words to say what 5 will do, Maher is the biggest tool on SEN and thatās saying something.
Love Caddy but donāt think i could sit through that.
Par 4s in the 1st Year will do.
I donāt think jones spot on best 22 should be guaranteed. Heās been ā ā ā ā when heās not injured for the last 2 seasons
The loyalty for some players who have yet to show much, is beyond ridiculous.
Caddy on Sen next
i think they mean āgadget type operatorā
SEN Interview
No expectations, really nervous draft night.
Happy to get to the Bombers
bla bla bla the hair. His sister a hairdresser.
Has played against men, feels heās close, confident in himself, but is realistic.
Look at Caddy v Williamstown in VFL
Plays a bit like Curnow, has good wingspan and reac and good vertical leap. Also played some midfield this year. Some compare him to Stringer.
Dodoro has done it again apparently!
Drafted another player unlikely to win a final?
I was there last night and asked Nate how he felt. Knowing the rumour about his family, I did at first think he seemed slightly forced in his reaction. He was pretty sure the Cats were going to take him so was probably still surprised, it was about 10 mins after being taken. But saw him again today and he seemed more passionate - maybe nerves and the whole night affected him. Must be hard for these kids to just switch straight into media-mode being thrust straight into the spotlight.
He def has a good frame to build on, his arms will build a lot hopefully. Seeing Jed Walter up close and then Nate, you really notice the 10 extra kegs Jed has over him.
But Iām so thrilled we took Nate, love what Dodoro and co did with the pick swap, really think we maximised our position in the first round for list needs, canāt wait to see him in action!
This isnāt my photo, but it shows how happy his family & friends are when his name was called out:
