There would be a couple of recent players we let go that prove we dont know how to develop players for jack so maybe they are.
If there was a way to turn Mckay, Tsatas and a second round pick into their pick 11 I would do it in a heart beat

The sad part is that we desperately need a key back and he’s not good enough for us.
Why would anyone else want him?
Little or no risk gamble for a contending team light on for KP backmen.
Would only cost them a list spot and a draft selection which likely won’t benefit them for a few years.

Then we likely pay him out and they get him for nothing? I really don’t see a club giving us anything even with the carrot of us paying his deal, he just isn’t worth it.
I reckon a club might take the three years on 400k a year contract in exchange for a late pick. Its drop in the ocean stuff at that price.
We get out of McKay and his three years, they get him for stuff all before any other club can get interested.
